The Bae's Privacy....Invade or not to Invade??

In a relationship (platonic/intimate), not all secrets are created equal as such there are implied layers of 'trust' to unravel or re-wrap depending on the situation that arises.

When is okay to snoop??
Is it okay to look but don't talk??
If devices are left careless, is it negligence on the owner's part??
If we argue can I say these things that I now know and pretend that I am 'gifted' with the all seeing eye??

These are legitimate questions and you would be surprised at some of the responses!!! Privacy & Trust are the proverbial 'lock and key' as they do walk hand in hand and cannot be separated...no trust no privacy it is as simple as ABC.

I am from the school of 'look but don't talk....too much' lol! I firmly believe it is not the knowledge that makes you powerful but the use of such knowledge. There must be a reason why the trust has to be violated, yes the reasoning that led to snooping (even if it is insecurity...that would be my trust issues right??) that would cause one to seek out this 'enlightening' information. The worse thing you can do to me is to 'protect me' from the truth.... I want to know EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that may cause any spokes in the relationship wheel to bend.

Social media today have only added the paranoia effect of invasion of privacy, we can now look at pictures, status, mutual friends, likes & comments and deduce a mountain of truths or half truths depending on the rose coloured water you are drinking from...

Scenario #1
You and your bae have been together for a while (over a year) and you know that fidelity may be an issue, where they are concerned, however you are given every indication that you are THE ONE. An unsuspecting situation arises that provides you with access to incriminating evidence (you found conversations, pictures etc). Do you confront? Or do you let sleeping dogs lie?

The invasion is usually perpetrated 80% of the time by women (this is society's perception). I do however believe men are just as high in the percentile, however it is not a behaviour welcomed by the boys club, if you can get more than one girl why stress over the one?? Right??? Can any of the 'real gyalis' please confirm or deny for me!!

Invasion of privacy requires some characteristics though....in order to find the 'hidden' information, evidence etc one would need to be; a hacker (to get by the many passwords etc), a linguistic decoder (interpret code words etc), a forensic specialist (to be able to leave the crime scene as it were), and finally a lawyer (to get you to incriminate yourself under cross examination). Role playing has never been sweeter!!

The truth is, if you cannot handle what you are bound to be looking for, (no snooper goes looking for GOOD news) then DO NOT do it, snooping takes dedication and discipline (self control). I suggest to every want-to-be snooper, that you read the Art of War first - you may just need Sun Tzu after all!

Until next time.....Snoop responsibly!!!

Many thanks to you all who continue to encourage the AZ.U.R. posts!! More Love!!
